Missions Monday is designed to expose you to some awesome missions and evangelism stories, resources, and information in the shameless hope that you will be moved to get more involved in supporting and participating in missions and develop a greater burden for sharing the gospel with those around you.
A Plea for Gospel Sanity in Missions (Part 2)– At times, Westerners get so googly-eyed with sensational stories from the East that they don’t even notice the non-existence of any form of the gospel message.
Voluntourism: More Harm than Good– This is the classic White Savior Complex, the worship of the land of the White Man. Somehow, despite hearing that Jesus loves him, the message of material goodness has swept him further in devotion, and he will worship the white saviors for the spectacular contributions to his development rather than the ostensible Jesus fellow.
South Asia NOW Conference– If they survive malnutrition, disease and lack of adequate medical care, these children will most likely grow up in a household of Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Sikhs or Jains.
George Verwer’s Conversion– When God converted George Verwer, he not only made a new creation, he also created an evangelist.
Change Lives by Donating Stock– A gift of appreciated stock allows you to make and deduct a larger charitable contribution than the stock’s original purchase price.
Host a Women’s Prayer Tea– The Prayer Tea event was created to help Christian women pray with greater depth and compassion for Muslim women.
