All author royalties from the sale of Jacob: Journaling the Journey will be donated to the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention to evangelize, translate Bibles and other evangelism materials , and provide humanitarian aid as needed to an Unreached People Group (UPG).
The UPG these funds will support is a Levantine Bedouin group who live in roughly the same geographic location in which the story of Jacob took place.

The global population of this people group is 2,569,694. Their primary language is Eastern Egyptian Bedawi Arabic. The primary religion practiced by the Arabic, Levantine Bedawi Spoken is Islam, a monotheistic religion built around the teachings of the Qur’an and of the prophet Muhammad.. Their GSEC status is 1 , which means this people group is less than 2% evangelical, some evangelical resources are available, but there has been no active church planting among them within the past two years.
